Een Meisje Zoals Jij

While Stella was in the womb, all we could do was imagine what she would be like...

What would she look like? How would she smell? Would she laugh a lot? Would she keep us awake? We could only wonder what kind of baby she would be, what sort of little girl she'd grow into and what type of person she will someday become. David put these thoughts into words and wrote a beautiful song for Stella before she was born. It's called "Een Meisje Zoals Jij" , which means 'A Girl Like You'.

We sang it to her often in the womb and continue to sing it now as a lullaby. Now we have some answers to our questions, and of course she's more amazing then we ever could have imagined. She continues to be a wonder, so I'm sure we'll continue to add and change the lyrics through out her life.
