Halloween was an all day event for us. First breakfast out and gym party in costume. Then after a nap at home we went back out in the afternoon to get the loot. Here's part of the trick or treating crew. Chelsea, Stella and mom.
Stella checking out her stash. I didn't remember to get one of the pumpkin baskets to collect candy in and this bag was all I had. Of course it was way too big for Stella to carry and when she slung it over her shoulder it touched the ground, but she insisted on dragging it around anyway. She'd get nervous if her bag (or her "bye bye" as she calls it) was out of her sight for a minute.
We went into the library to trick or treat and there were two of the librarians dressed as robots. Stella knows how to do the robot so she decided to show off some of her moves and see if she could help them improve theirs.
"Guys, your movements need to be a little sharper and more mechanical if you really want to be a convincing robot. Here, watch"
"Now you're getting the hang of it."
"Much better. My work here is done. Let's go get more candy."
"What'd you say? Don't touch the cactus? Why not?"
"Ouch! Ok, I get it."
